SMCOC’s students are given numerous leadership opportunities and programs to support their growth. Student Representative Council (SRC) is one of these leadership programs offered that is highly effective and yields positive outcomes, such as building skills pertaining to communication, public speaking, self-confidence, effective time management, problem solving, teamwork, as well as preparing students to know how to deal with real life circumstances and issues.It is a student-led opportunity where members of SRC are given the opportunity to voice the needs of fellow students, to lead College Assemblies, organise College events and represent our College in formal and wider community events.SRC also works towards creating a better study environment and raise ideas and issues with College Management. They are also the first point-of-contact if any student has any issues they raise or ideas they suggest.
