CSFE FUNDING

Funding for Families – families may be eligible for camps, sports and excursions funding

The CSEF scheme offers payments for eligible students to attend camps, sports and excursions. A sum of $125.00 is paid for eligible primary school students for an academic year. A sum of $225 is paid for eligible secondary school students for an academic year. Approximately 222,000 Victorian school students would directly benefit from the CSEF scheme.

This means that schools receive additional funds based upon the number of students who are CSEF eligible. This is why CSFE funding scheme can be beneficial to schools despite that that the allowance for each student may not be a large sum.

Families with a valid concession card or temporary foster parents are eligible to apply. In addition, families need to note that they need to apply for CSEF funding at the beginning of every year.
